This year we celebrate Taylor Swift's twentieth anniversary in the music world. She debuted as a teenager. She wrote her first songs in high school and has gradually built a very successful career—tremendous, in fact. She's dabbled in different styles and has as many fans as she does fierce detractors. I like her more every day. So, screw the haters. She's Maiaki's favorite artist, and thanks to her, I've discovered many great songs. This one is from her album Folklore, which is perhaps one of her best-reviewed albums by certain select critics. Ha! I really like the song, but I also like many others that are more pop-oriented or downright danceable. Dance to the Music! In any case, this is a perfect song for a sweet sixteen. Adolescence is often a misunderstood stage by many adults, and music always helps you find your place in the world. And at night, let's dance!
